Opting for a stealth finish, this iteration of the Adidas Cheap Shoes NMD R2 comes dressed in 99% Black from top to bottom. The shoe includes a Primeknit upper, taped Three Stripes branding, a Blacked out Boost midsole, Black rubber sole and Black laces. The only part of the shoe not done in Black is the White found on the pull tab branding and the exposed Boost midsole found on the outsole.
Joining alongside its red/black variation of the adsmithfwt adidas NMD R2 will be this collegiate navy/white theme. The newly-introduced low-top stays true to its original counterpart, although, this version is defined by a revamped primeknit upper that bears a distinctive striped patterned overlay that envelops its entirety. Other distinguishable elements include a suede heel patch and the three stripe motif prominent on its side panels.
The two Adidas Women colorways will contrast each other, with one featuring a Dark Grey upper and the other featuring a light brown upper with olive detailing on the medial side. The two women’s colorways are similarly contrasting, with one upper in Rose pink with white detailing and the other in black with blue detailing. Both men’s colorways feature gum outsoles below the Boost midsole while both women’s colorways feature translucent outsoles.
Another bright colorway appears on the Adidas NMD R2 Ash Pink to close out summer in the form of raw pink. Featuring a breathable primeknit upper with a geometric shadow knit pattern, the women’s exclusive shoe is also detailed with matching three stripe branding on the sides and heel badge, followed by light grey accents on the sock-like collar and EVA plugs on the lateral side. A white Boost midsole and black outsole completes the sleek design nicely.
