The latest Concepts x New Balance collaboration will arrive February 7th, 2015 in the form of this New Balance 997 Women “Luxury Goods”. CNCPTS has been all about tonal lately, just look at their Rosé creation from a while back. Here, the unofficial inspiration is luxury lifestyle brand Hermès, as a safety orange arrives on the retro runner in a premium vibrance created in part by buttery leather and supple suede.
New Balance has been rather prolific with its disconnected Author’s Collection throughout the latter half of 2014. The premium detailing on numerous silhouettes has been a pleasant surprise and now the New Balance 997 Sale joins the ranks. The 997 is a strange shoe to see without its signature reflective accents, but it manages to work through the absence thanks to a luxurious black leather and brown suede.
It’s already Made in the USA at the utmost quality you’ll find on a retro running shoe, but this latest edition of the New Balance 997 Men takes the patriotism a bit further with a decidedly American color scheme. OK, so it’s not quite a true red, white and blue sneaker since the upper features a light grey hue across the premium suede and mesh, but these New Balance 997 Cheap still definitely radiate some USA vibes. White is however found on the midsole, and it’s all completed with reflective silver detailing and striped laces.
